Be a part of a national administration team offering support and fun!

How will you spend your days?

Based in Mt Wellington, this is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover opportunity, providing operations and administrative support. Reporting to the National Administration and Payroll Manager, you will work as part of a team of administrators locally and nationally, your role will ensure day-to-day operation administration is taken care of in a timely and efficient manner.

We offer a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Data entry for payroll and job processing
  • Preparation of invoices
  • Purchase orders and GRPO’s
  • General administration tasks include supporting the wider administration team as required

About you:

Amazing attention to detail, super organised and be great at juggling multiple tasks at one time! You love a challenge and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are comfortable working in a blue-collar environment (not corporate) and being on a site surrounded by scaffold!

This role requires a can do attitude, flexibility and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done, regardless of whether it is in your job description.

We would love to talk to you if you are:

  • Experience in a similar administration role, ideally within the construction industry
  • Pride yourself on being a self-starter, quick to learn new things and amazing at finding lost pieces of puzzles to complete the picture
  • Proven ability to remain cool, calm, and collected and thrive in a busy and demanding role with conflicting deadlines
  • Able to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Punctual, honest, reliable, hardworking, with a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Work and Excel
  • Experience in SAP software
