About the role:

Identify, establish and grow customer relationships to increase sales of our formwork product in the Lower North Island region, whilst being part of our Wellington branch and receiving support from the most experienced people in the New Zealand formwork industry.

About you:

You will be a self-starter who enjoys a challenge, working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You will ideally have experience with formwork or involved in concrete construction. You will be comfortable working within the construction industry and all that comes with it – hi vis, portacoms, yards, trucks, amazing people, diverse cultures, lots of formwork and scaffold!

You consider yourself a driven salesperson who is hard working, organised, connected, have a high attention to detail and a great sense of humour! You understand the importance of ensuring the best possible customer experience every time and the impacts internal communication and connectivity has on this outcome if it doesn’t.

We would love to talk to you if you have:

  • Proven experience in a sales role, ideally with formwork or concrete construction experience
  • Customer service and delivery focus always: do what you say you will - deliver on promises
  • Great communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels (internal and external)
  • High level of commercial awareness both business acumen and relevant markets
  • Proven sales competency and ability to uncover opportunities for growth
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently
  • Sound computer skills in word and excel
  • Organised, self-reliant and adaptable
  • Can do attitude and takes initiative!
